Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

Fit is proving to be a bit of a lengthy process for me too. I can't even seem to get the blues onto the Savanna as the stems bunch up. Couldn't seem to get a good fit with the reds either. Then tried ortofon tips which fit well but slide around the nozzle a bit. Sony hybrids can't stay on the earpiece.

Currently using the bigger of the foam tips which are working fine while i think I'll pick up some spinfits.

As an initial impression, I find the bass plenty on the Savanna and enjoy the presentation so far. Whether it will truly wow will probably depend on better fit.

edit: Noticed that a few others in this thread have tried Ortofon tips with noble earphones. Any suggestions to keeping the tips in place?

Regarding the blue tips, make the mushroom portion straighten out, then hold the ear tip by that portion, and force the blue section over the nozle

Tada... it fits, and stays secure

Just out of curiosity, i've been doing some online research on Noble and as well as just coming back from a trip to japan.... why is Noble such a high visibility name in high end earphones (more so than other big names) in japan?

Luck?

Hard work?

Quality workmanship?

Good CS?

I'm not sure if there is a finite reason why Noble has done well in Japan, but I am happy to hear that we are.

I find the trick to putting on slightly small silicone tips is to stretch them a bit beforehand. Use a pair of needle nose pliers, stick them in and force the pliers open a bit to stretch the material. Once they stretch a little, they will keep that size and become much easier to remove and put back on.

BTW, the spinfits are hard to fit as well, their inner nozzle is quite narrow but also very stretchy (they are high quality tips). I still prefer the spiral dots, but as always YMMV.

Whilst that statement is not factually incorrect, I would add that Noble has being doing pretty well in a lot of other markets, too. Here in Singapore, they are one of the leading high-end IEM companies. I know of many Noble fans/users here (and abroad). I'd say they are definitely doing something right. If it's not the class A service, it's the top-notch sound. Or, a combination of both.

Received!!! Woot woot. Only took a quick, 30 second listen. Then plugged into my laptop to watch a sales video... How boring lol.

About to do some work in pdf's, which means I can listen and work. Fit is great, nice and snug in my ears.

Oh i didnt mean to ask it in a way that was questioning the companys performance at all. I am sorry if i came across that way. I just find it interesting that noble is marketing to japan a lot more heavily from a consumer standpoint when compared to others.... examples such as social media platforms exclusively in japanese, etc. I am looking forward to purchasing a Noble CIEM in the near future as well....hopefully soon.

So, ultimately I'm having some fit issues. None of my normal tip choices are going over well. I'm having an issue with my right ear, but I think I have it resolved. Those bores are so big.

Definitely a much different sound than the Heir 8.0 (from memory mine has been broken for a while). Biggest difference is the top end, the K10s really extend. They hit hard too with the bass turned up. I could be happy with the bass levels.

Noble is marketing, or the official dealers of Noble products are marketing? It is just my guess, but i would venture to say that the hobby of portable audio is larger in Japan than other areas of the world, so the Noble name will be seen more prevalent than other areas.

Our dealer in Thailand also have a social media platform featuring Noble as well.

To those looking for eartips, Veritas memory-foam (similar to Comply, but softer) work well for me on Noble iems - secure fit on the stem and good fit in the ear. Not sure what the worldwide availability is, but here in the UK they're less than half the price of Comply too.
