And the room treatments really help. I DIY'ed those as well, using pieces of IKEA bookshelves, recycled denim insulation, deer-netting and burlap. Ran me about about $20 per panel, and slightly more for the bigger/deeper bass traps. Jim Smith's "Get Better Sound" is such a great resource for room-treatments and other tweaks. Kills me how many people don't take the room into consideration.

Awesome. I have stereo upgraditis lately, trying to keep it in check (having bought 3 TOTLish IEMs in the last 2 months helps a lot

).
We don't actually disregard room acoustics, it's just that we can't do anything about it (WAF is a big problem over here). Tried a bass trap one day and she was like 'that thing isn't staying there, IS IT!!!???'. No honey it isn't.
I need a listening room.

But on the other hand thats what head-fi is about. I see her talking for the last 5 minutes, then take one IEM off and say 'did you say something?' she has no choice but to say no

I would suggest six... It's like having 2 K10's stuffed into each ear :L3000:

Isn't that only 10 per side? Looks like a regular K10 load to me, just with the SLA shell.

Nothing says 'get to know the inner me' like a pair of pink goo impressions.

I think they used all of their silicone to get my impressions, not to mention grabbing a few hairs along the way. At least they have plenty of information for the SLA shell, lol!
