Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

Its a good thing the movement isn't from a Rolex, what a pain it would be to wind the CIEM's. I could see tons of lawsuits from people injuring their necks.

Well, if its by Noble, it would only mean the movement is by Wizard!

Any info available on when some of the noble universals will become available?

Dr Moulton,

When we will see Noble version of R1? I am really wondering what kind of thing you will produce as a portable amp. I don't want to get R1 since you and your team is not in Heir anymore so I prefer to see your version of it. I've to admit R1 did several important things quite nice, if you can add on them, it might be a game changer. Long battery life, neutral gain, size, carbon fiber were all good. What else can you add on these things? Balanced output maybe?

Sorry, but I really can't openly discuss this type of information.

Thanks

Thus far there really is only one report that I am aware of regarding daps and the K10.  In summary, I think the reports of the use of the DX50 and the DX100 has very positive.

I think most folks know I use cowon products, I also use an IQ 6 (a smart phone found in Thailand) and really the thing sound really good, and there are no sound pre-sets/adjustments, so I assume it is flat, and if that is the case it sounds very very good right out of the box.

Brannan also uses an AK120, and from time to time an I-phone 5, all good reports with his Noble gear.

  Dr. Moulton,
You're the one who know most about K10's sound, so can you suggest me which DAP is the best to pair with K10?
Thanks.

The K10 isn't picky (heck I've used them straight out of my laptop) but scales very well. I enjoyed them immensely with the Ibasso DX100, now I'm completely hooked on the DX50 with an external amp.

I don't know whether it's a good idea to purchase another Noble product, a silicone 5s, when I'm gonna have k10 very soon. But I think I cannot simply reject the attractiveness of the silicone shell.
Maybe, I'll order in December, a Christmas gift for myself :)

I have pics of my rebuilt K10 in the other K10 threads. Masterful work.

I definitely need to get a shielded amp though, the one I am using is picking up all kinds of notice I can hear on the k10 even though it has a dark/quiet sound floor.

I now need to relearn how to listen to my music.

Yep, I've seen yours, as beautiful as always, but I choose a similar design to Soren's, maybe I was impressed so much at that time by that awesome dripping gold style

I'm still drooling over mine, 3 months in... Funny, because I would never have picked a design this flashy.

Meier Audio Quickstep + K10 =

That, and the Quickstep is so well shielded that I can place it on top of my phone and not even calls (or data) will give me the slightest RFI.
