No more Parcel Post for package from USA to Canada with USPS

They took off the Parcel Post option from shipping to Canada from USA with USPS. That's a big joke, since global priority is so much more expensive!

Any canadians have seen this?

I'm having eBay bidders back out due to shipping costs.

Has anyone confirmed this by actually talking to someone? As much as I like the internet I have learned not to take information at face value.

edit: I am not questioning the content of this thread, I am questioning the USPS website

At least we still get to enjoy benefits of 1:1 CDN $. Kinda makes up for it.

They've just changed the names around. Parcel post is now "Priority Mail International" with the same 6-10 day delivery estimate. Prices are higher, but USPS prices went up for everything. Also, USPS "First Class Mail International" is still available for boxes under 4 pounds.

The price increase internationally is to be expected, not just because of high fuel prices, but also because since the shipping price gets split with the postal service of the delivering country, and the US dollar is worth less to them.
