No "Edit Community Profile"

  Oh, my bad, I just skimmed through and slightly misread that.
 
Maybe it would be a good idea to add that explanation from the FAQ directly to the part in your settings where it suggests that you use the Edit Community Profile button. Seems like it had not just me confused.

I don't think it's fully automatic, the moderator has to clear it now because of that recent spam attack. Might want to PM one of them to alert them.

Same problem. I really feel sorry for the mods on this site. They have a lot of work to do. Hopefully, the site doesn't die. I bet the amount of active users has dropped drastically recently.

I agree - quite funny! Guess I'll have to make 10 junk posts to get my profile back.

For now, there's a nice bug you can exploit to edit your profile.
On the head-fi home page, scroll to the very bottom and click on MY PROFILE.
This will take you to your profile in edit-mode.

Anybody else seeing the stay logged in function not working? I log in every time, click the stay logged in button and every time I come back I have to do it again because it doesn't take.

The home page shows "Log In" even when you're still logged in.
It even shows it directly after logging in.
Could it be that you are actually logged in? You can simply check by navigating elsewhere on the website away from the home page.
