New here, just like many others there is no "edit Community Profile button on my profile page.

Could you add me to the list of users who can't see "Edit Community Profile"? I just posted my first thread today and it's still in moderating, so if I need to be patient, just let me know.

My mistake. I just found this:

"Please note that you must have a minimum of 10 posts, or have been a member of Head-Fi for 15 days and made 5 posts to be able to edit your profile. Learn more about how to personalize your profile in our Community Profile Tutorial."

I also cannot access the "Edit Community Profile" feature. Furthermore, when will I be able to start new threads on the trade forum? I cannot seem to find any information about it.

Oh, my bad, I just skimmed through and slightly misread that.
 
Maybe it would be a good idea to add that explanation from the FAQ directly to the part in your settings where it suggests that you use the Edit Community Profile button. Seems like it had not just me confused.
