As long as the impedance curve and response is sort of smooth, without many hard peaks and / or valleys it doesn't matter at all. You can simply eq it to what you want. If you don't EQ you headphones, I ask you why not? Every single person has a different frequency response.
A good headphone will respond smoothly to EQing.
Of course they are all different. Everyone imparts their "house sound" on their products.
