A minor issue really, as everything else with it is fine:

From the documentation, I was expecting a blinking indication on the power switch when the charge was nearing full and a solid red when it was finished:

Although the device seems to charge just fine, I do not see any notification - the power light stays off the whole time, unless the device is switched on.

Is this right?

I asked Ray and this was his reply:
"You can charge the Predator in either on or off mode, no matter where the input switch is. It will charge within 2-3 hours & shot off by itself, don’t worry you won’t over charge it
The best way is turn it off & connect it to wall outlet for an over night charge.
."
If you have the Predator switched on you will see the power switch pulsing(It is difficult to see) If not pulsing there is a chance it is already fully charged
