NKK-01 mini review!

Hi people of the world. Long time I dont post anything. The story is long. To make it short, dont ask me how, but I fried my M3 amplifier, my Motherboard and my 60GB ipod. All at once. Je, as I said, please, dont ask me how.
Due to these long weeks without a nice amp and few trips around the world, I decided to get a amp for my desktop. Since I listen to music in front of my Pc more often, I started the search.

At first, I was looking for a local DYI'er's amp but I found exactly what I was looking for. The name, Rudistor NKK-01.

I needed rca inputs, the right size, the right price and transportable. So I decided to buy overseas. I wanted to try something fresh, new and different.

As everybody knows, here in America, you need to pay very high prices to get build quality.

Look and feel:

- It looks and feels like a tank!, large knob (I like it!), blue LED and jacks and switches in the right location. Not to mention that I can use it world wide!.

Build quality:

- This is one of the best highlights of this amp. Is made a la Europe!. NKK-01's quality is only comparable with higher price amps like RS amps, with a lower price tag. No doubt about it. Awesome!.
- It works cold, like a frog in the water. Dont get a tad warm at all. Very nice indeed.
- Knob is very easy and pleasant to drive, movement is smooth as silk!.
- Screws are top notch

Sound Quality:

I cant go to bed, listening to this thing. Amaizing.

Low freqs: Clean and tight. Not bloated bass. Very, very clean bass.

Mids: This is the most evident improvement over the M3 / SR-71 and Gilmore Lite. This amp makes my Senh HD600 lift the veil. Mids sound in my face. Kind of the same mid freqs effect as the smv3.

Highs: Highs are not painfull like the other amps. It makes my Senhs Hd600 sound like a pleasant wisper deep inside Keops, Kefren and Miserinos.

Sound stage: Sound stage is in the first row, right in the midle of your head. Like listening the artist right underneath, from the first row.

Noise: No hum or background noise at all. It's a dead silent amp. Between songs, you fall into a deep trance, where nothing bother you. Sound comes out slowly like if you were inside a deep sea and you were coming up.

Instrument separation: The best I heard so far. Every single instrument shines in their own frequency, in their own beauty and last but not least, in their own channel universe (only and only if you know what I mean)

Bottom line: I like it a lot. It's like an extract of the best qualities from all the previous amps, without the high tag price and superior build quality. Great amp. Recommended.
