HAs anyone else read about this it looks rediculous. With the backward capability, wirless controlers, Sd card, and USB 2.0, and best of all the ability to download every old nintedo game from every console and burn it so you can play it is awsome. I knwo that when it come out im gettin one of these evern if i already have a ps3 or xbox 360.

What does everyone else think of the Nintendo Revolution?

I like the look of the Revolution much better than the Xbox 360 and the PS2 but rest of the details seem underwhelming at his point...except for the part about being able to download all the Nintendo games. That definitely is intriguing. I'm mostly worried that Nintendo will repeat their failures by relying mostly on sequels instead of branching out to develop new franchises and appealing to a more diverse crowd.

If it's possible to play all the SNES classics on the Revolution, I'd buy it just for that. Yes, I'm that desperate to play the old school games, but don't want to pay $50 for a worn-out catridge. Sounds interesting...all three systems hold promise, I think. Competition is good.

I think Nintendo should specialize more on their market if they want to survive. Nintendo's games are for 4yo-14yo. They should develop that as their niche.

I like what I've seen and heard of the Revolution so far, but they really haven't released enough information yet. I'm really hoping they tell a little more about it before E3 ends, hopefully they'll show the controller.

Yay!! I want my Mario back in 2D with chunky graphics where he can only run, jump and maybe spit out a few fireballs.

I'm serious give me games back from when Nintendo Entertainment System was brand spanking new, the controller only had 5 buttons and everyone and their mother's father's step-sister's daughter's grandfather had to have one.

The initial announced specs are pathetic. It will barely keep up with the original XBox, unless Nintendo has something else up their sleeve.

It's really small. Think half the size of the Mac Mini.

Even if they could cram some killer silicon in there, there is no way in the worl they could cool it in such a tiny enclosure.

Looks like Nintendo dropped the ball again.

But, man the Game Boy Micro is so cute.

don't jump to conclusions about the Revolution.

you don't know how powerful it is going to be.

The GC was much more powerful than the ps2.

and Nintendo is not about power, it's about innovation (or at least thats what they keep saying)

if i wanted a pc, i'd buy a pc and have pc games, that's why i didn't buy an xbox or ps2.

and also the gc was way cheaper.

i'm not saying the revolution is going to be amazing, but in all honesty, the gc is my favorite of the three consoles of this gen.

Unless Nintendo goes back to the drawing board, they have screwed themselves with the current design of the Revolution. And by innovating you mean creating games by living off of nostalgia of the past.

I guess I have outgrown the kiddie games from Nintendo. It's a shame really. I liked Nintendo a lot. But unless Nintendo pulls of some kind of hail Mary hardware out of their @ss, most Kids will clearly see that even the most innovative game design will not make up for a very large difference in graphics quality.
