Nice To Take a Break

Well I took a nice break from Head-Fi. After the first of the year I sold almost all my headphone gear. I kept an iPod, TAH, Etys and SR225s. I quit drinking. Started working out. Went on the South Beach diet. When the warmer weather came around. I got back to something I really, love. Bicycling. Road then mountain.
I am almost 30lbs lighter and feel great. As for headphones, I miss them and this place. I frequent other boards about bicycling and they suck. This place is great.
So I am rebuilding. So far we have a Rega 2000, XP-7, Hd650/Mobius. I have been very, happy with my iPod set-up, but what the hell. Need to have some vices. I think I'm going to try to keep it simple. I did say try.

There will be another Amptoberfest! I will miss Headroom's support.

Glad to hear your feeling great. Time away is definately a good thing. I am planning on doing the same come July 1, when I get back from the Leesburg meet. I've got a few pounds to lose, and haven't been around the Central Park bike track in a long, long time. This site is great, but IMO, it keeps me in front of a computer more than I need to be. Weather is beautiful, and it's time to say goodbye for a bit.

Guys don't think I am blaming Head-Fi for the shape I ended up in. It was a small part of the picture.

I am glad to hear that you lost 30 pounds. I've got a mountain bike. It's somewhere in the garage, I saw it once two years ago.
