This goes out to all headfiers who love hockey (NHL) You can choose your own dream line combo. They can be from any era modern or vintage but you can only choose only one player for that posistion apart from defense e.g

1 left winger
1 center
1 right winger
2 defensemen
1 goalie

Obviously the most popular selections wil be gretzky, lemieux, orr etc. Here is my dream team.

Left Winger=Bobby hull
Center=Steve Yzerman (19) noway was I gonna choose gretzky or lemieux!!!!
Right Wing=Mike Bossy (22) Best ever natural goal scorer.
Defense=Bobby Orr (4) IMO None classier or better.
Defense=Larry Robinson Who could ever forget "the hit".
Goalie=Terry sawchuk (1)

There were two selections who many people could of been the greatest at what they are known for. Bossy played 10 seasons before a back injury ended his career. IMO would of had more goals than gretzky If he had played 20 seasons. Then there is the legendary no.4 of the bruins. Changed the way defense was played forever. He is better than gretzky, lemieux IMO Would of had the most points ever by a defensemen if a crippling knee injury forced him to retire. The greatest moment ever in hockey is when they retired the no 4 shirt at the B's arena. Go on headfiers select your dream team.

Jude> you have to pick coming from hockeytown.

Wings: Hull (or Gordy Howe) and Gretsky
Center: Bobby Clarke (Flyers) or T. Fleury (Vancouver)
Defense: Orr and Robinson
Goal: Patrick Roy, Berie Parent or Rogie Vachon

I wanted too put howe or lindsay in but being a redwing fan I might seem bias to the redwings instead of my favourite line. I like clarke but I don't rate fleury. trottier, messier, lemieux. As for defense, spot on. How about Ken Dryden in at goalie. Only played eight seasons but won 5 cups, I think and vezina loadsa times.

I think that there were some great players that I never got to see like Maurice Richard (the pocket rocket). Also I did not get to see Gordie Howe in his prime; I did see him play with the Houston Aeros with his sons at his side. As far as Fleury goes, I saw him play one night against the Kings and was mightly imressed. Ken Dryden was superb in goal for Montreal, as good as Roy (or visa-versa), I do not know. I also recall that Edmonton did real well with Reddick in goal. There were just so many excellent players in the NHL.
