Next ZEN CAN Signature edition! Which headphone's EQ Curve??? You decide.

@iFi audio

Defiantly believe that a great design for your great company would be a custom ZEN for the HiFiMan HE400i.

Good luck with the voting everyone :gs1000smile:

Thanks! We like HE400i as well!

Why not design the next DAC/AMP with downloadable signature EQs for multiple popular headphones?

We're only into fully analog EQ applied in our amps :)

Folks, here's a small announcement for you:

At the moment we have two leading headphone models and the difference between them narrows down to mere 20 votes.

The voting stage ends on the 26th of February so please make sure you have your say, and like so help us to pick the amp tailored for the winner headphone model here:

https://ifi-audio.com/crowd-design/

To make this crowd design a bit sweeter, we'll select five participants who voted, and each will be given the amplifier that's going to be the outcome of your votes.

You would be out of your mind if you don't do it for Meze 99 classic out of the 5. I'm not even a fan of Meze, but the 99 classic is one of the most successful headphones in the 21st century.

And important to keep in mind too, just because the 99c isn't selected this time around doesn't mean it's something that could come around later along!

I would really like to see the AKG’s come back. My beloved unit is gone forever.

Your personal heaphone you mean? Oh no! What happened?

Right, so Meze 99 Classics. I know a few of you have already dropped your thoughts and support for this model, others not so much!

What are your thoughts on this one? Is this a candidate for the EQ Curve on the next edition of the ZEN CAN Signature? We'd love to hear more on why or why not!

Remember, you decide: https://ifi-audio.com/zencansignaturecrowddesign/

The Meze 99 Classics delivers perfect natural sound even to the pickiest of audio lovers. The walnut wood earcups, soft earpads, and the spring steel headband delivers crisp and clear, non-distorted and balanced sound.

The Meze is a great value for its cost. I enjoyed it with our time with it. We had it as a portable solution though and it was just a little too big and that's why I no longer have it. It was my 2nd choice behind the Fostex which I chose because it can be easily modified (Lawton).

Thanks for dropping by bud! Great reasoning here.

Just do the Hifiman so I have a reason to buy them

You never know, we eventually could do a HiFiMan even if it's not selected for the first round!

What I'd love to see is just a clearer stripped down line-up, so you can focus resources on fewer products (and it make it easier for all of us to choose which to go for). There seems to be so many iFi products coming out and a lot of confusion amongst people about which to buy, or even in the microDSD signature thread people holding off because they thought with the Diablo around the corner they should just wait. So I wonder how many will just hold off from current or future products because they figure there'll be another new iFi product just around the corner anyway. A simpler line-up will provide a bit more surety to users, and presumably allow iFi to concentrate on making each product as best as possible to stand out from the crowd.

Would love it if companies in general (not just iFi) went more with this approach. Obviously, I don't run a company and maybe the many-new-products model is working well for business, since everyone seems to buy out of FOMO. But you know, the world is burning, so less products that stay top of the line for longer would get my vote.

Voting link doesn't work for me.
You can probably guess my vote if you look at my avatar

Can you try this one again and let me know if it doesn't work?
