Next ZEN CAN Signature edition! Which headphone's EQ Curve??? You decide.

They’re not asking what product you want them to build. Sounds like they’re basically asking if they make another ZEN CAN Signature 6XX that has special hardware EQ made to pair with a single set of headphones, which headphone would you chose from the selection.

Edit: And note they’re all Drop headphones, indicating another Drop collaboration a la ZEN CAN Signature 6XX.

I can see that but I just can't see how using resources to cater to a limited audience helps when their last two products have been very focused as well and the range seems to be very scattershot. The Signature and the Diablo are too close for comfort and the iDSD has no replacement.

Both the new ones are too similar as portables and in a crowded market at their higher price points they have to also deal with desktop equipment.

The current big dogs such as the RME, Schiit, Topping and others have stellar offerings at the new price points when it comes to desktop equipment.

The Black Label I purchased at launch had an Audeze LCD2 bundled for $1000 all up which was probably the deal of that year.

What? I don’t get it.

We should choose which headphone the amp should drive? Or sound like? Or what? Either way that’s not really crowd designing. Will we be able to vote on more concrete features and specs in the future?

LCDX. Most popular out of all Audeze headphones could use an amp to fix its flaws and gain even more popularity. Unfortunately not on the list.

Thank you all for your feedback and discussion!

Yes, we're not asking for all-around ideas @CANiSLAYu stated as stated, but not saying we don't want them either!

We are a huge proponent of all-around discussion of our products, and you never know where ideas could go.

More info to come as I have it!

Meze 99 Classics all the way! They already have fantastic synergy with iFi products, one could only imagine how they'd sound with a specialized amp! :metal::sunglasses:

Either something small similar to the BTR5 with BLUETOOTH or my dream all-in-one desktop unit, something affordable like the Zen line but with the power and deliveries of the Pro i models. The NEO could of been the one given it's price but low power, no xbass, no 3d and all the stuff that I love from iFi made me look away.
Maybe a NEO 2.0. You don't have to start from the ground up but just build and improve on the already great design

Not at all. Two drop headphones... One amplifier with two tunings. One for Dynamic and for Electrostatic. Not sure what part you don't understand about my post. I'll try to explain better if you need it.
I think that these "specialist amps" need to be on the cheaper side of things to be a viable mass product, so I can't imagine how an amplifier that could power both dynamic/planar and electrostatic headphones could fit into the conversation (the iESL is just a transformer).

I mean, that is literally the point of this thread... to offer suggestions. I didn't see it mentioned and those are the two best "drop" headphones available (price/performance) that haven't already been done (HD6xx) - The list of headphones given are all mostly gimped models that have been given a drop treatment, but ultimately are mid-fi and lower. The ESP950 and Elex at least get you close like the HD6XX with an AIO unit.
