Hello guys,
I currently own a pair of Fostex T50RP mk3 with hybrid pads amped by an Audio-GD NFB11, combo that I actually really enjoy. I love the precision of the Fostex and the fast paced response, but might sell my combo to a friend of mine, so need a replacement to keep the music playing. I want to try something that gives me new sensations.
I mainly use my headphones in: 70% music, 10% gaming, 20% nothing-playing-just-keep-the-cans-on, so comfort is a must.
Prefer listening to jazz, soul, sometimes some classical, I really love fat soundstages and immersive listenings.
Have always been interested in tube amps and enjoy the tube rolling practice.
EDIT: I've been astonished by the new Feliks Echo and the Darkvoice has always been in my radar.
Main and only source is my desktop.
My budget is something around 800€, located in Rome, do you have any suggestion for me?
There are many shops here that have some cool used devices, mainly for speakers, but eventually I can dig and find the needle in the haystack.
Looking for full size open cans, amplifier (tubes?) and if I can afford a DAC too.
