wondering what you guys think of the first two bundles

http://www.newegg.com/app/combspecia...isttype=bundle

otherwise my plan for a gamin/audio pc would be:

athlon 2800
corsair ram
abit or gigabyte mobo for socket 754

wondering if the abit and gigabyte boards in these packages support amd's "cool and quiet" technology. i assume they do. i'll probably want 1gig of ram eventually for gaming

also, i will get zalman alcu fan and heatsink, so included fan/heatsink are of no value

I'd get a socket 939 mobo since 754 will eventually be phased out. It also doesn't cost much more, as there are lower priced socket 939 amd processors as well.

I just picked up a 939pin 3000+ (1.8ghz stock) and an MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum...
The rest of the gear that surrounds those two parts was highly upgraded from a previous system so im able to run the 3000+ @ FX-55 speeds, 2.6ghz. Its watercooled so its silent... Great value though... like $178 for the processor and $125 for the board...
