My question is this...the RCA jacks on the Audiophile 2496 are output right?

M-AUDIO - Audiophile 2496 - 4-In/4-Out Audio Card with MIDI and Digital I/O

the red and white jacks on the left. So there is an output and an input correct?

What this means is i can plug my rca cables into the output of the soundcard and plug the other end into the input of my headphone amp and can have music play right?

also, how is the sound card? i have a prelude but my main concern is sound quality in only music

tjhanks.

Yes. You can connect to your amp.

As for quality of SC, I'd pass for others to answer as I didn't have a direct experience with it.
