I have decided to get a headphone amp. I was looking at the Headroom AirHead amp and the Xin SuperMini amp. Which is "better"? I looked at the specs for the AirHead, but can't really compare it with the SuperMini amp because they don't provide common specs. I plan to use this with earbuds and my portable CD player.

Which is a better buy and why?

HI: The Portable CD player is fairly big but the ear buds are very small and the super mini amp V6.28C would knock your shocks off and be way smaller then the cd player and very easy to carry around. Now if the V6.28C is not out yet I would wait till it is because it is that great.

Well, I have a SuperMini V6.0 and a TotalAirHead, and I tend to prefer the TAH. Maybe I will get the next major revision of the SuperMini for comparison though. The TAH has several advantages (all subjective): It has better bass, it seems more musical overall, and it fits my HeadRoom iPod Bag perfectly

It is also several times bigger than the SuperMini, and a good bit more expensive.
The SuperMini is def. a nice amp though, and also very affordable. You just have to live with the fact that Xin makes it better and better about every three to four days
