I used to have problem with my sblive when it came out but now it's stable and the sound is ok to good depend on how picky you are. I just trow those in because they are dirt cheep nobody want them anymore =) ok you have to hunt a bit but I'v seen it 5$-10$ used. Audigy2 is better I guess but like I said I don't lisent to much music on my computer so.

simon2, consider the philips HP890s. they're supposedly not as durable as the senn's, but likely easier to drive. I believe that they're also less expensive than the senns. They are also EXCELLENT gaming headphones. I use them all the time for this purpose, and they are really the best bang-for-the-buck in this particular aspect.

They used to be extremely popular cans on the forums (especially last year), so you might want to check some old posts for reviews and such. You might want to check out Jan Meier's review on head-fi. He also sells them at meier-audio (http://home.t-online.de/home/meier-audio/ ).
