Hi I am totally new to headphones and have always listend vis speakers, the only headphones I do have are Vivanco SR250s which came free with a magazine subscription to Hi-Fi News.

I have just purchased some Beyer Dynamic DT 880Pros and am awaiting delivery. I figure that I should buy a dedicated Valve Headphone Amp and am seriously considering the LD MKiVSE. Would this make sense????

Can anyone advise on a suitable partnership?

Also I bought the 880Pros and not the 880 Premiums I think they are called, did I do the right thing.
I listen mainly to vocal, choral, classical, Contemporary C&W and some Synth pop.

Thanks for the advice

Same for me, the 2003 made me a better impression than the 2005. I currently have a 2003 pair, I'll test them with my Mad Ear HD2 when I receive it.
