Edit: this has been sold. Thanks for your interest.

OK, newbies, have I got a deal for you!

Included:

One Sony D-25S in perfect condition (retail $45 from Silicon Salvage) (caveat emptor: this, like pretty much every other D-25S out there, will skip on discs that are badly scratched OR have scratches to their printed side...I haven't oiled the screw-threaded rod...but as you know from reading about it here, the line out AND the headphone jack are AMAZING!).

One Radio Shack power-filtered adapter (800 mA) w/"M" adaptaplug (retail $13.99)

One Acoustic Research "Y" adapter, minijack-to-RCA IC for headphone amp (retail $12.99)

Total retail: $72.98

Newbie price: $48 shipped
Otherwise: $55 shipped

I'm getting rid of these because I have a new DVD-Audio player and cannot afford not to sell these. I do love the D-25S to death, though, so I will be sad to see it go.

PM me now!

- Matt

Damn... I'm desperate for a D25s to join my trio, but I don't get paid for another 10 days...

If by some miracle this isn't sold by 26th March, I'll have to buy this package from you

- that is on the presumption that you're prepared to ship abroad?

...to pay the extra shipping, I'm willing to send it to you. However, I can't hold it or anything, so anyone that commits to it before you gets it.

Best,
Matt

although I've been wanting an anti-skip PCDP, that D-25S is mighty enticing. It's probably the best stationary PCDP out, but I still need something portable. I'll have my final decision by tomorrow, hopefully. 48 is a good price for this setup, but I already have both mini-mini and mini-RCA interconnects. Can I get this for 43 w/o it?

Yeah, this D-25S sounds like a good deal, i've been setting my sights on an mp3 player for portability anyways, this D-25S would be great for listening while lying in bed. 43 for the player and the adapter, or you can straight-up trade w/my MDR-V6s
