I know this might be a very silly question, but...

When I turn on my amp, what is the "proper" order of doing the following:

1) Plug headphone in
2) Turn on power
3) Turn up volume

Reason I'm asking is because if I try to plug in TF10Pro into my iBasso D2 Boa, then turn on the power, it makes a pretty loud pop sound, and I'm afraid it will damage the driver... on the other hand I don't want to plug and unplug too many times to wear out the connector.

Safest way is to always turn your volume all the way down before plugging or unplugging your headphones.

1) Turn on the power.
2) Turn down the volume.
3) Plug in the headphone.
4) Start the music.
5) Turn up the volume.
6) Listen to music.
7) Stop the music.
8) Turn down the volume.
9) Unplug the headphone.
10) Turn off the power.
