New Woo Audio Balanced Tube AMP

Has anyone heard about Woo making a balanced HP tube amp?

I was thinking about a balanced amp to drive my new Ultasone ED 9 HP after they are recabled.

The choices are SS Rudistor NX-33 or RPX-100 or RS Apache

vs balanced tube amps


I think the RS B-52 is overkill for a HP amp so is there something less expensive on the Horizon? Also, why do amp builders make a HP amp with a seperate preamp?

I asked Jack about a balanced tube amp a month ago and he came up with a very fine solution to build a custom one for me. It would have been an excellent deal and an outstanding amp, but I came to realize that I currently can't afford to go balanced, even though I thought I could. Contact Jack for the details. I really hope he puts that amp into production because from his plans and drawings it looked fantastic.

i asked him about this. he is working on one, but it is unclear when it will be available. may not even be this year.
