New with tinnitus

I'm getting back into audio after a LONG time away. I don't have room for speakers so am looking at a headphone setup only but I'm a bit worried it will exacerbate my tinnitus. Anybody have thoughts on that?
It’ll be all right as long you maintain a reasonable DB level for a certain period of time. Keeping the volume around 70db and below should be fine with break periods. Personally, I keep my volume between 60-70db with listening breaks. Consult your Otolaryngologist for specific recommendations based on your condition.

Best way is going with a low noise floor and closed back design. I have the Dan Clark Aeon closed back and with a Topping L30 II with its silent noise floor you can hear every detail without blasting the volume to overcome ambient noise. Active noise cancelling with the Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones works well too.

piracetam and tofisopam both seem to help.

That's interesting you prefer closed back. I was tihnking about buying the Senn HD 800. Not a good idea?
I spent a few hours with the HD800 and it exacerbated my tinnitus. It has a nasty peak around 6500 Hz. I agree with the suggestion above to go for good closed backs and just enough volume to hear the details.

I've always had tinnitus but my tinnitus got more noticeable after I started using IEMs. It is what it is, it was a price I was willing to pay as the hum doesn't bother me much. Its kinda just like low white noise
