If only it had 128gb of memory... however, i can hope that there will be a 128gb walkman this spring.

You have no idea how long it would take to upload 128GB of music onto a walkman...it was an overnight deal with my 16GB walkman.

Maybe you've connected it to a PC by USB1.1?

Oh yes, MTP, i've completely forgot about it.
I believe that transfer speed is higher for japanese models when used with sonicstage (they're using sonicstage, aren't they?)

Hmm, i've just read about 740 and 640 series, and battery life is 42 hours for these... why the top-of-line 840 works less than this "abridged" cheap models?

Because the screen is bigger. And maybe because of the S-Master digital amp.

But isn't OLED supposed to be more power-efficient than LCD?
And battery life is 30% less, screen size should not affect it so much.

So only 840 has this amp, not 740/640?

I think only the top model has the S-Master amp but I am not 100% sure.
