Yes and therefore DAP manufacturers should try to support as many file formats as they can.
If not, users looking for support for a particular file format will go buy elsewhere and the company looses what could have been a potential customer had they decided to support it.

Precisely. As far as I recall, they're the only manufacturer still holding out. They obviously have plenty of business cause they've been doing this for years under AK... but they simply won't get *mine* until they add that support. That's all I was stating.

I don't believe AK "cares" if you buy or don't buy their products because they do or don't have the options you desire. And we are a user forum (though Jason/AK is on here sometimes), so we really can't help you. You could always contact AK directly and make your needs and desires known.

@JasonNYC if AK isn't planning on providing a fix anytime soon I'd personally opt for rolling back to the previous stable version. Don't care about Roon support but would like to use AM on a device which isn't continuously limping.

Yes, it is Nova launcher. The A&K launcher will not show non-whitelist apps after a firmware upgrade to the latest (at least for me). It's best to stay on earlier firmware if you can. I do not believe you will be able to update non-whitelisted apps once you upgrade (haven't tried though).

We can not update nor install more apps we want AFTER flashing newer fw.
Whitelist (tidal, qobuz...) are ok to update but just those apps.
Apps that not whitelist item work flawlessly but no more update.
In my case UI display all installed apps on latest fw (so other launcher is optinal).
