Thank you, Jason. I was just about to reply asking if anyone knows whether the PNY is compatible (only because BB just has one solitary review from a customer who didn't have any luck with a Samsung Note 9) but now that I realize who made the suggestion, I'm just going to buy it. :)

First time I see a vote for the blue - yay!

Hey, I see there's a black onyx as well - does that one have a different sound signature as well?
Same aluminum body for the Lapis Blue and the Black Onyx. Just a different color PVD coating. The Gold is a brass body with gold plating, which is why there is a different sound signature.

Samsung announced a 512GB card at the Note 9 launch, but I haven't seen it on sale yet.

The Samsung 512GB Micro sd card has been available in the UK for around 6 months and getting cheaper everytime I look it up (currently £135), though being the victim of irrational logic that I am I only buy Sandisk

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-Me...034998&sr=8-1&keywords=samsung+512gb+micro+sd

or SDXC version

Good to know. I had not seen them here in the US yet, but I just checked Amazon and do see they are available. The PNY 512GB seem to be more readily available here.

Interesting and good to know. Where you have found 512GB? In searching the largest I've found is 400GB.

Amazon has been selling the fast and reliable Samsung EVO plus 512 GB micro sdxc card directly for several months on its European sites,
e.g. amazon.de:
https://www.amazon.de/Samsung-Memor...8&qid=1551037325&sr=8-2&keywords=512++gb+sdxc
Now the price has dropped to less than € 150: when I ordered several cards a few months ago, they were costing €250... so I lost several times € 100...:triportsad:

Some reseller sell them on amazon.com, with fulfillment by amazon, for less than $150:

You prefer B over G? Would you care to share what you didn't like about G?
Hi, IMO, It is not that I didn't like the g per se, it just has a little more thickness between the layers and on the notes. It sounded great, but the B has a slightly 'lighter' presentation, not as thick. Not that the g is thick, it's relative to the b and g. The g seemed to have slightly thicker notes, with a little less space and air between the elements. I would say, in a word, in all seriousness, 'brassy'; so not thicker around the notes, but 'brassier'. As in brass, not bass. In a nutshell, the b was a lighter presentation, and g darker, but just slightly as described. I can imagine, a brighter IEM like Audio64 TOTL may be a better pairing. I used my androSS, which because of it's dynamic mids, seemed to 'muddy' up the g.

Hi everybody,
i have already Iem JHAudio JH12V2 Pro customs version, which I'm using with Moon audio silver dragon cable with my SP1000ss.
Now I'm still looking for something better, as iem.
Could you propose me some possibilities, based on your experiences ?
thanks in advance

Thanks for your explanation. I hope this "a little less space and air between the elements" doesn't really mean G is sort of congested (but having more weight in sound) and less airy of two.
I would try to test it with your iem, before you purchase it.

I had JH Layla with SP1Kss before which I didn't enjoy. I thought A18/U18 had a pretty good synergy.
