Pardon my ignorance, but what kind of benefits does downloading tidal via pureapk provide over using it through The default app?

Tidal offline mode is available using the APK. The embedded app does not have offline mode.

I've just done the update, but i had to delete some albums because the internal memory was full and it's now done it just fine. I have the A&K CD ripper and put a micro sd card in the SP1000, can anyone tell me if it will rip automatically rip onto the micro sd card (because the internal memory is now full) or is there a setting to engage ?

You can currently only rip to internal memory using the CD-Ripper. Giving the choice of ripping location is an option that has been requested for a while and I've passed it onto our development team to research as a future option.

We recommend when ripping to rip to internal memory, then use the copy/move function in the folder view to move the rips to external memory.

So in my case (living in the UK) you spend £400 just to rip onto the internal memory and that's it. Thanks Jason, i will see if i can transfer the albums from internal to sd card.

Hey guys, i'm trying to connect to my school wifi which has phase 2 authentication , meaning that I have to enter login information in my browser to access the internet. I entered the proper settings on my SP1000 (PEAP, MSCHAPV2) and my SP1000 tells me "connected but no internet"

Does anyone know a solution?

The only thing I can think of is if I can download a browser apk into my device.

EDIT: Nevermind, a notification showed up on my screen asking me to log in!

On the SP1000, if you go to the folder menu item and select internal storage, all ripped CDs should show in the "Ripping" folder. Open that folder on the player. On the top, right of the screen, the icon that looks like a box with a line in it is the select button. Press that button and check boxes will appear next to each folder. select which folders you would like to move and then click the move button at the bottom of the screen. You can then choose to move to the SD Card.

APK version provides offline mode. The default app does not allow to download.

Download your favorite music apps (e.g. Tidal, Spotify, etc.) onto your MacBook.
Use AndroidFileTransfer app, which you usually use to transfer your music files to your SPK, and copy APK apps under 'Open Service' folder.

correct, no screen rotation is possible, at least not yet. We plan to continually evaluate the OpenAPK experience and adjust as needed, so it may be a feature that comes at a later date, but nothing is formally planned.
