New TOL A&K DAP : the AK Ultima SP1000

    I have had too many issues with Qobuz on any Andriod device, not just A&K ones. Downloading large album list either fails or crashes the device. I tried it on Sp1000m, Sp1000 and DX220 and all the same issues.

    On the iOS device, it works perfectly. It's such a pity as I too prefer the Qobuz sound to Tidal.

    Are you experiencing the issue in the embedded Tidal app or the Android Tidal app that is sideloaded via Open App?

    Hey guys,

    I’m very happy with my SP1000Cu and plan to use it heavily for the next years. It already has a couple of years on it’s shoulder, but holds up well. No issues at all and I’m asking just in case.

    My question: how would one go about asking for a replacement battery if you live in Germany. I have contacted IRiver germany, but didn’t get an answer.

    Does the dap have to be shipped outside of the EU for that? Can the replacement be done by third party services?

    Just out of interest anyone else using 1tb micro sd cards. I get the Android message about process not working once it finally boots up. But then works fine so I am loathe to reformat the card.

    I don't know in below track, in about 1:59 to 2:05 there are 3times tiny instrument sounds on R channel, which is more realistic. But the instrument's decay time is longer on Qobuz than on Tidal.
    To my ears I like the way it sounds on Tidal.
    Turn volume enough or we will not hear the difference.

    At 02:20 ( I feel you slipping awayyy...) tidal exposed less noise(don't know it belongs to the record or playback process).
    May be qobuz is more analytical, detail, tidal more musical?

    I just wanted to know if anyone is having issues playing songs on SP1000 with the Amazon Music App. Mine does not seem to work when I select Play on the device.

    I am having issues with the new version of the app - 16.2.2 on the SE100 and SP1000M. No issues with the new app on KANN CUBE or SR15. The previous version works without issue. I'm in the process of putting together a report for our dev team to look into.

    What issues are you experiencing? On mine when I click play nothing happens

    the same. I get a spinning circle, then it eventually times out. On the KANN CUBE and SR15, it begins playing immediately. Looks like an issue with our Octa-core CPU based players, as it is playing without issue on our quad-core cpu based players.
