Anyone using the A&K CD ripper Mk2?

Just bought one, connected it up as per manual, inserted a CD, light flashes on ripper for a few moments and a bit of noise with the disc and then nothing else happens. Nothing shows up on my SP1000m, it's like it doesn't know its connected!? I have tried it with a few discs but same everytime.

Can't find any troubleshooting on the A&K site so I'm a bit stuck.

Jason@AK, you are probably sick of this question but I just saw a Roon update but I didnt see AK on the list. Is the AK Roon implementation still being worked on?

However recent awareness on the AK warranty being non-transferable make me sick. Goodbye to resale value of old SP1000.

Do you have the CD Ripper connected to a power outlet? We recommend using a 5V 2A plug for best results. While the CD Ripper can be powered by the player itself, in most cases you will need it to plugged in to its own power supply for best results.

Still working on Roon. We will have a meeting with the Roon team later this week during the High End Show. Hope to have more info to share after the meeting.

Question... did you turn on the "External USB" (icon) from the pull-down menu on your SPKM after everything was connected?

I wasn't around for the launch of previous A&K flagship models... I love my SP1000Cu!

Is there a chance of a copper version of the SP2000 @ launch OR is that just a later release in the line-up concept?
