If you are looking at the fourte I would also consider the campfire Solaris. It gets pretty damn close to the fourte and I think beats it in areas at less than 1/2 the price.

Here is a link to their page. I have not seen them discounted. They retail for$1,5000 Ken has not inflated the price of his products.

Maybe @JasonNYC could give us an update. Last report it was still with roon for testing. Nice if he could get a projected time line. Seems roon is announcing weekly new "ready" partners. We should be moving up the list.

Do you really need that much music at your command tho? I have a 400gb card in my dap and when I first got it I loaded it up with a ton of music, complete collections, etc and I found I had so much music I ended up never listening to. So Now I just put select recordings I know I have an interest in that I specifically want to listen to. I tend to put modern music in internal memory and classical on the card.

That's a valid question. I think I ate up space quickly because of 24-192 and DSD material but lately I've been satisfied with redbook so if I re-think which music I deem to be portable, I can probably make it work, especially if memory card sizes are going up and the A&K will support them.

For reference, my music collection is probably about 7.5TB.

I even have'nt insert my mmc card to the port.
256GB is ok. I am quite lazy to copy music.

Wow! Mine is a little over 5TB. How many albums do you have? According to Roon I have about 35,000

I was disappointed by all the totl Audio64 stuff, way too bright.

Only if Solaris fits with your ears. Uncomfortable fit of Solaris was the deal breaker for me.

11,262. But a lot are different masterings etc - not sure if Roon counts those. And of course, a lot of it are high resolution files.

I just ordered a pair of Fourte's.... going from my not-so-bright SE-535's.... probably going to be a shock....
