The color matters that much? I chose mine based on sound. And a case keeps most of the device covered anyway. I believe I read somewhere the Onyx is painted, but I can't find where I saw it. If it is, paint will wear/rub off.

Yeah as stupid as it is it’ll bug me for sure. :/ From what I’ve read I’d prefer the sound of the SS anyways.

Dignis case is in stock for anyone who wants one. Also on the wear/ scratches it should be a non issue for any of the models since you can get a full coverage skin from healing shield. I have one on mine and it's fantastic.

I believe he means the fancy-dancy handmade case and I ordered one about an hour ago. Had been waiting for an update but thought I'd take a look just to see. Yep, back in stock for $158 USD.

I have a glass screen protector and a stock case on my SP1000 and no scratches on it. I was the 3rd owner of the 240SS I just sold and it was pristine as well. I assume if you shoved it in your pocket with your keys you could scratch it but who would do that?

The SP1000 SS is a bit brighter/less warm than is the CU version- at least that was my impression from a quick listen comparing the same 24/192 files on each. Not a giant difference, but to me noticeable. I love the insane detail with the SS.

I have installed Brotect screen guard for sp 1000.
The touch response is so much better than the stock ones.

I am having difficulty in forwarding the song by dragging the progress line below the artwork with or without screen guard.
I guess my fingertips are too thick to accurately drag the progress bar.
There should be some kind of dot on that line that helps recognise the fingertip.
It is there on kann.
Anyone facing the same problem?

The scroll bar can be touchy. I find it easier once the song has been playing for 10-15 seconds to "grab" it. I use the flat of my finger when I slide it over, rather than the tip, if that helps. And good steady pressure across the flat part helps as well.

(Solved) Question for using AK Connect App... excuse me if this is the wrong place.

Is there any way to have it sort on track number rather then alphabetically? I also use 8Player which has that option but I like AK Connect's ability to select Tidal as a source.

Browse by folders not artists and all is well.

Your phone and SP1000 must be on the same Wi-Fi network and AK Connect must be turned on in the menu.

If you are looking to play music located on your SP1000 through the SP1000, in the AK Connect App, you would Library (source of music) as SP1000 and Speaker (output device) as SP1000. You can then use the AK Connect App to scroll through the music on your SP1000, select and play tracks.

If you select Tidal as the Library and SP1000 as speaker, you can then use the AK Connect app to select Tidal songs to play on your SP1000.
