NEW Spiderman 3 trailer

honestly that looks very weird and rather lame; i love venom, very cool, but that just looks incredibly weird; sandman is a terribly difficult villian to relate to, i mean the ****er is made of SAND........tom church is cool but he doesn't seem much of a villian in the trailer, seems rather weak-minded, not threatening; i don't know, it looks rather lame to me

They've ruined the black costume; it looks like crap in this one. The white was really necessary for contrast.

Seems to me like I said in another post that the movie would have to be like 3 hours long to do the whole venom thing. And from the trailer it seems they are not going to. Maybe we'll see the suit leave him before the end of the movie but I doubt they will have time to develop "Venom" within the alloted time. In my opinion anyway. Just another way for them to have to make another movie that people will come to see.

I really doubt Venom will appear in this movie. The ending will go something like this...Spiderman realizes that the suit is evil and somehow gets rid of it. Brock comes by and picks it up, movie ends and we'll have to wait another year for Spiderman 4. -_-;

The shoddy CGI is also painfully obvious in HD

. They're going to have to step up to the plate if this will also be shown in theatres with digital projectors.

Yup. It looks like they just used the CGI version of the red costume and made it black.

It's hard to tell from the trailer if Eddie Brock is Venom we see or if it's a psuedo spider-man venom.

Hmm, I thought 2 was kind of cheesy in terms of the story line but still excellent in terms of technical merit. This one has ALL the earmarks of cheesyness as well, but I'm sure it will still be an excellent movie, all things considered.

So much money goes into these mega movies that they end up succeeding despite themselves. The 2nd Pirates of the Caribbean was of this same variety. To a great extent, just totally overblown, but I guess that's what most people like. Although they annoy me a bit here and there with some of the theatrics that push beyond the limits of credibillity, they do offer a lot of entertainment value and you can always pick and choose your favorite scenes once the DVD comes out.

Topher Grace wasnt even in that trailer. I dont care about ****ing sandman, Venom is the best spiderman villain. And with the above, I really don't like the all black costume; they did the same thing with Batman Begins by taking away the yellow contrast of the bat on the chest.

And at 1:27. "Love the new outfit."

I think this one looks pretty good. At least better than 2.
