Hi everybody,

1) I might decide myself to buy new speakers, and I would need some advice from people having had the opportunity to compare. I would need them mainly for rock, but I would be very happy if they would be good also for opera.

My price limit would be about 1500$, but I would pay less if possible!

2) Could somebody direct me to a quality forum on speakers? Like this one, but not on headphones, but on speakers

Thanks, Mr_Happy! I went on that forum, but it left me the impression thet it's dedicated mostly to people who know a lot about speakers - and I am not one of them. I mean, for that forum, you really have to know the scenario before seeing the movie, you see what I mean.

Come on, guys, tell me something like "Moth Cicada Speakers 695$ a pair are the best speakers i've ever heard regardless of price" (that was TimSchirmer

) or let me know, dariusF, how satisfied are you by your Acoustic Research S40 towers you mentione in that

surprisingly, there is a lot of information about speakers on this forum. Enough to get you started anyway. Just use the search function, and you will find some useful stuff.
