Stoopid DSD. I have this DSD album, sounds so good but I have to crank up the volume even with the DSD gain setting to 0db. The album finished without me noticing it and the next PCM album kicked in at 80/120 volume while normally, I listen to 50-60/120.

Anyone having similar issues with the DSD playback level? Any solutions? I turned off the automatic next album setting for now.

it's only on zx507 and a105. (40 th anniversary of Walkman)

I have the non anniversary version of A105, and it also has the tape thing.

I have done an A / B test with two European ZX507 (3.00.07 and 2.01.00 firmwares) . Does anyone know if in firmware version 3.00.07 they have increased the volume? In some moments I hear more volume.

I have read that the new firmware detects the impedance of the headphone and adjusts the volume. How true is this?

yes, they made 2 versions on a100 player. basic and "special one" (I believe it is supplied with special cassette type case)
I meant that both a100 and zx500 series were made to 40th anniversary of Walkman.

I know the hope is probably in vain but there is always a minimal chance.

They would be in conflict with EU regulations about it, so they won't remove the volume cap.
