So why the heck is there no titanium color available from a US seller on Amazon? Purple, red or blue? No thanks.

Its not..
When my phone ia connected to the m0 via ldac Bluetooth, the usb out has no audio through my external dac. Its either or, not both together
Thnak you very much. That is bad news for me :) Hopefully Fiio will do it with BTR3, otherwise, there is no such device on planet earth.

it sounds good with APTx (test with my pendulumic stance S1) but I'm awaiting a sony LDAC BT headset to try that BT Format
I think the R3 was supposed to have LDAC and doesn't (yet)

Still need to test with the Bluewave Get and some not BT phones

Shanling getting exposure in Canada finally!

I have noticed more Canadian dealers picking up the M0 that were not Shanling dealers in the past. Headphonebar.ca is now taking pre-orders for the M0 and now Canada Computers looks to become a full line Shanling dealer at least online. Glad to see Shanling will become a viable option for me in Canada going forward. Very interested to see what Shaning does with their other DAP's now that the M0 shows what they can do with a touchscreen OS and the latest features like LDAC. Sony who???

Our Canadian distributor is now focusing on M0 and trying to get it to as many shops as possible

Thanks Shanling, I am looking to pre-order my M0 in the next few days so this newer manual will be great to have. As much as I am interested in the M0 I am wondering if Shanling is planning anymore DAP releases in 2018. An upgraded M2S with the innovations you have in the M0 would be awesome and interest me greatly.

There are of course other player planned, will see what we will manage in 2018 and what will need to wait for next year.

@Shanling /Frankie, thanks for the new instruction manual. Answers a lot of questions and is very clearly written. Thanks for putting the extra effort into this.

Wanted to do it earlier, but had no time. Found it quite tiresome to write, I take M0 as something natural, for manual I needed to stop and think how would total beginner approach it.

First, how many BT earbuds can show up as paired at any one time? And second, would be nice to have a way of deleting any BT devices from the neighbors that happen to show on screen. Right now there are probably too many showing to allow any of my BT earbuds to be paired.

1) Not sure about exact number, but I know, over the shows, my unit got to like 10 paired devices.
2) Since you only need to choose from all available devices only on first pairing, we don't think there is need to be forcing M0 to ignore them.

Unfortunately however the LDAC receiver functionality seems a little problematic when I try and connect it to my Sony HT-XT3 soundbase. It will establish a connection and show that it’s using LDAC but I just hear white noise from the output on the M0. The XT3 is fairly old and one of the first Sony devices to support LDAC tx so I wonder if the incompatibility is related to that. I struggled to get my A15 Walkman to connect over BT at all. Maybe it’s a more fundamental Bluetooth issue with older devices?

I understand it’s a brand new feature in the 2.0 firmware and I’m happy to provide additional info to help diagnose the issue. If Sony are providing the reference implementation it might be worth finding out if they know of any compatibility issues.

Interesting, we are testing M0 as receiver mainly with phones, so we didn't even noticed Sony has such device. Will try to ask somebody from Sony.

You might want to correct this. ALAC is a lossless format. :)

It's a trick, we have ALAC both as Lossless and Lossy!

Hello Shanling. Did you or will you implement LDAC in receiver mode while using USB OTG functionality via firmware update?
Use case: Android Oreo Smartphone -> LDAC -> M0 -> USB OTG Cable -> Chord Mojo -> Earphones

It's one of our planned future updates.

Sold out! People really like M0

Firstly, M0 has no support of aptX on receiver mode. So you would need phone with AAC or LDC to get better quality of signal.
Your older phone will probably be able to send music just over basic SBC.

A satisfactory workaround might be to just enable the line-out menu selection to drive your external amp. The M0 has quite a good dac so I don't think you will hear much of a drop in quality.

Is there a way to make the m0 work with a Bluetooth controller? I bought the fiio rm1 which worked with the m2s but not the m0. It pair up but doesn't respond to anything. I just need to skip tracks with it dones i use it in the car.. It's hard to do it via the player

Is this feature even in the pipeline? It works in the m2s and i am sure on other models as well. Almost all other players from fiio etc this works.
I would love to be able to control via a remote imsyesd of pressing the button on the m0.

M0 is compatible with controls on BT headphones, we didn't tested it with any BT remote controllers.

I wouldn't recommend it, HD600 needs some serious power, little bit too much for M0.

@Shanling I had a problem with the volume control being stuck.
I had switched the volume control on then off . It worked OK afetr this but
Then with a charging process the volume control was stuck at min, No control.
Even after rebboting several times.
I had to do a factory reset after that to get the volume control working.

I'm on V2.0 firmware

Have another problem regarding track listing.

Some albums are not playing in proper numerical order when selecting via Artist.
Track 2 and 3 are swapped.

Folder selection plays in order.
