New portables due this quarter??

Just wondering if anyone has information about upcoming releases of any new players this quarter? I've been searching for information and have found a bit on DAPreview's site but not much in the way of new products. Guess that means the next few months is going to be somewhat quiet?

Saw that and it does look interesting. Along with the Zen Vision M, the Cowon A2 and X5, I've got some choices. Yet, the lack of replies tells me that I shouldn't get my hopes up for some sort of breakthrough product in the next couple of months.

In the end, I guess I'll pick up an X5-30BL for a run. The A2 is tempting me but it's a bit bulky for portable use although I do like that screen....a LOT!! Hey, maybe I should get both?

If I were in the market for a brand new HDD mp3 player the X5L would definitely be the one I would get. Good choice.

Lots of rumors about the Neuros III but I've seen nothing in print to make me think they are anything but rumors. Wasn't too impressed with the II so I'm not holding my breath. Heck, it might be like the rumored Karma replacement....somethin' called the Chroma. Yeah, that went real well!

Sandisk is selling a ton of players but the capacity is too small for my needs. 20 would be as small as I'd want to go. 30 is better yet.

Yea I basically have all my hopes on the Neuros III now

If nothing works out, I guess I'll have to pick either the iRiver h140 or iPod Photo with iMod
