Now, to complete the NAGRA Set-up, we need NAGRA to come with a Music Server/streamer, that will use the new and so far un-used, "NAGRA Link single-mode ST1 optical" input.

For the nagra link, at this moment, you only can use it with playback designs, i already try and sound it quite good, but personally, i dislike all company come from USA & Canada. Also, the outlook of playback designs is totally cannot compare with a swiss product.
i was asked Nagra at the beginning of this year, Nagra will launch a new product which is pair with tube dac in this year, but they did not mention it was a server or streamer and have nagra link or not.
Since, in the email, Nagra only mention the best input to play dsd file with tube dac is only via USB / Nagra link, i think they will launch a new product which will have Nagra link or USB

Has anyone experimented with the ground connection? Does it improve the sound to use a grounding box?
(I looked at a grounding box which seemed ridiculous: something like $5000 for a nice wooden box and a wire!)

I use the ground post to tie the grounds of the preamp + dac + amp. Grounding boxes are too voodoo for my taste
I have used a Entreq silver tellus infinity before, it will good, but i suggest if you spent $5k , better to go with others component, the result will be more obviously, for example, a good power conditioner

Would you mind measuring the total height from the bottom of the VFS base to the top of the Tube DAC? So the base + PSU + DAC.
I have the Tube DAC and considering buying the base and the PSU, but I only have 17cm of height. I may have to skip the base, or at least 1 set of spikes...

So I think to get them to fit in 17cm of height, I would forego the VFS base and spikes. That should save about 6cm.
Or the VFS base without the spikes, just using the stock rubber feet.
