The Brooklyn Amp finally got the Plus treatment!

Brooklyn AMP+ retains the same type of sound with dynamic and precise transients and even and extended frequency response, but with way less low-level distortion and cleaner natural, analog-like character with a deeper, larger soundstage.

Brooklyn AMP + features new faster transistors, cutting the so-called "switching dead time” to low nanoseconds and faster and higher, 650kHz carrier clock. They both contribute to greatly improved low-level detail and lower distortion. In addition, the output filter frequency has been increased two-fold for lighter highs and to better accommodate difficult loads.

This looks like a pretty tasty little compact package. I'd love to have a black one parked on my desktop with a nice tube pre-amp on top.

While looking for headphone amp for Mytek Bridge, I wish it would have headphone output too. It would be instant buy for me, since I could stack it and it looks great too. While Bridge headphone amp section is good, the DAC truly shines when adding good amp to the chain.

Despite not very positive review at ASR I have an appointement with a dealer for listening session tomorrow of Mytek dac+ and amp+ with kef 50ls meta. Can anyone share some tips about synergy with other speakers please?

Forgive me for bumping this thread, but I have the Brooklyn Amp + so I'd like to echo @alekc request to see if anybody can share tips about synergy with speakers that partner well with the Brooklyn Amp.

@gryffe I can tell you that kef 50ls meta aren't great pairings. If you are into less loud listening of smooth and gentel music or good rock and maybe grunge you may want to checkout my choice: Guru Audio q10. Perfect pairing for classical, blues, jazz, classic rock. However some EDM and very bass heavy music may sound really bad. Hope that helps.

As far as kef 50ls meta are concerned this is perfect example of hype marketing for me. Overall those were ones of worst sounding speakers at that price range I have heard. Their wireless version also sounded poor for me.

Thanks, I'll spend tomorrow trying to track down speakers that will match
