Just joined the forum, spend all day with a headset or headphones on so trying to finally upgrade from the standard sets from Best Buy and such. Trying to find a good pair of IEMs that will last a long while and be balanced for audiobooks as well as music listening. Not sure if I need a DAC yet, that will probably come later.

Started to appreciate info on headphones and gear after my gf gifted me a pair of Senns hd630 (almost 50% its price!) and I got a modi/magni pack to push it a bit further. Coming from Grado sr60 directly into pc as my first step into headphones, that was unveiling.
Recently interested in ANC headphones, for work, without much sound quality compromise.
