Hello, It's ADK-Mark, I am a musician of varying types, guitar and folk instruments, and lately, the drums.  I find myself obsessed with headphones and really enjoy learning about the technical information and etc.  I like the forum-method for getting information, because the information available from suppliers and retailers all starts to sound confusing.  I read a review from brand XYZ headphones, and I end up liking the sound of it, then try to cross reference the information with another site, and decide, no those are not what I want, these other ones are what I want.  Then I cross reference that information, and the same thing happens.  I finally bought some Audio Technica M50x for making good audio mixes for barbershop harmony tracks, but these are not good for my e-drums.  I had some Sony 7506, but the same thing happened.  So the quest continues.   I don't trust retailers that say that their headphones are the best.  I'll search the forums here and see what I can find, and if you don't mind, is it OK to post specific questions and maybe get some other members ideas about things?    ADK-Mark

ADK-Mark--

It is totally fine to post questions on this board so long as they are related to headphones and related technology (DAPs, amps, dacs, equalizers, sound cards, speakers, music file types and related services (flac, etc.) and so on. If you are interested in learning more about a particular piece of technology, you may want to go to the thread for that piece of gear, if there is one (eg, Sennhesier HD600 thread in Full-size Headphones). Let us know if we can help.  ---)
