Hello. New member who has been bitten by the audiophile bug. Current set up is modest:
Pro-ject Audio Debut Carbon DC Esprit turntable
Onyx A-9110S integrated amp
Klipsch RP-600M bookcase speakers
Beyerdynamic T1 headphones
I'd spend a great deal of time listening to 80s and 90s alt rock/ pop (joy division, PIL, taking heads; cracker) as well as classic blues through my headphones. I'd like to start upgrading my system component by component over time but am having a hard time knowing where to start.
I was thinking of a preamp and headphone amp to start. But then I think that going with a nicer preamp with headphone output might be wiser in the long run than splitting the budget across 2 components. Budget in the $2K neighborhood.
Thoughts?
