Wondering if I would notice a huge difference if I upgraded my sound card. Im currently using the SoundBlaster Live! 24bit usb. I got this because it works for 5.1 and also has optical in and out. Thing is it doesnt have drivers for osx or Mac in general. It works via plug and play but im missing out on features. So my question-- Is there something out there "reasonbly" priced that will sound quite abit better ? I looked at te M-Audio Transit but it seems like it has lots of driver issues and also the specs look the same with the 24bit 96khz in and out. Thanks

I didn't think you could upgrade the soundcard. Getting a Meier Aria with onboard USB DAC will net you some considerable gains.

Yea internal cant be upgraded, but I can go external via usb or firewire.
