I refreshed a thread I was tracking a couple of minutes ago and I thougth my browser was screwing up the page for a second. Then I realized Head-Fi changed thee look.

So long Mr Snowman Head-Fier!!

I noticed that number of posts does not appear below the members name and avatar anymore.

Personally I think that is a good change.

I think it is less practical than before. More scrolling now and more crap in-between posts.

I know most forums can be "themed". Is it possible to use the old them instead of the new default one? I have been using forums all my life, and the new way is quite bothersome to the eyes (imo).

I don't like it. It's harder to read posts with user information between each post. Plus, when you throw in some of those 25 line signatures, followed by name, avatar, member info, it disrupts the "flow" of the forum.

Hope they don't axe avatars, still get a chuckle every time I see your cswann lol.
If I was asked to make a small change that doesn't make a hill of beans, it would be user selectable emoticons that appear when I reply to a post, that always stay in my box and never change.
