New LOD cable Launch market now

Can you guys develop a 3.5mm to 3.5mm like the L2 but instead with right angle plugs? That's the only thing stopping me right now from buying the L2 and I know a lot of people have expressed this concern as well.

I currently have the L1 LOD for use with the E5 on my iTouch 2nd Gen and I'm considering upgrading to the new L3 cable but I wondered if it locks into the iPod? The L1 cable is quite loose and because of the small 8cm cable that connects to the E5, I am constantly pulling the L1 out of the iPod dock by accident. This is really, really annoying and makes for a bit of nightmare when putting my iPod and E5 in/out of my pocket.

The new L3 appears to have some squeeze buttons on the sides indicating that it locks into place and needs to be squeezed to unlock it and disconnect from the iPod, is that right?

Also does anyone know of an iTouch case that I can attach the E5 to the back of? As the L1's cable is so short, it doesn't quite reach my belt for clipping on and so I usually have to have it hanging loose inside my pocket or slightly sticking out.

Yes, L3 have lock buttons on the sizes!  and used PCOCC-A cable , the Sound quality is much better than L1!

We have a silcon band, which can be used to bandle the E5 with itouch! We will suggest our sales agents sell it too!

Thanks for the reply, I've just ordered an L3. I'm interested in the silicon band you mentioned. Could you give me more information on this and where I can buy it (I'm in the UK).

Just an update, I've received my L3 LOD now and while it is good quality (and certainly better than the L1), it still doesn't lock into my 2nd gen Touch's port. I can still pull out the L3 with relative ease and as the cable is shorter than the L1's, it is more likely to get stuck or snag on a pocket/item of clothing and be pulled out. For the time being I'm using an old silicon Touch case that has two slits on the back where you'd normally attach it to a belt or armband, and I'm using those to clip the E5 onto.

This at least will stop the L3 cable from dangling loose while connected to the E5 and be less prone to problems. Perhaps I'm being a bit too pedantic about this issue and not many other people have encountered this.

Are you purposely ignoring my question about the right angle mini-to-mini? Because if that is the case, I find it extremely rude and unprofessional.

We already decide to make a right angle ipod LOD, but have not consider this question! the decision is depend on the market request!

And hope you can understand we sell our products through our sales agent and distributor , and some may sell by them self, like AOL and other!

So if none will like to help us sell it, or there are very few people will like to buy it , we have to sell it in very expensive price, that is not our expection!

I think the market would respond well to a short right angle mini-to-mini. If it is affordable like the rest of your products, I feel that you can take a big market share. A lot of people look for right angle mini-to-minis in the For Sale forums. Also, HeadRoom sells 3 different models of right angle mini-to-minis, all with high ratings meaning that several people have bought it. There is plenty of demand for this product.

As you know, we don't wants to compete with other! for our L1,L3, it is just because other can not provide such cable in afforatble price!!

Best regards!

Another update to my use of the L3 and my 2nd Gen iPod Touch - I have found that it does somewhat keep in place (although it comes a little loose at one side). I have determined the problem to be with the two clasps at either side of  the L3's connector to the iPod. I'm not sure if clasps is the right word to describe them but they're basically the little pins that latch on to the inside of the iPod to ensure that it doesn't come loose.

I have noticed that these are quite small and don't protrude out too much and as a consequence they don't latch on to the iPod as well. I have a Gear4 WorldTour Dual Charge kit http://www.gear4.com/product/_/32/worldtour-dual-charge/?cid=41 and the actual cable/dock connector that connects to the iPod latches on better to my iPod. I have looked very closely at this cable and noticed that the two clasps protrude out at an angle slightly more than the L3's do. I think because of this there is more of the latch to be able to connect and lock on to the iPod.

As I've said before, I think this is a minor complaint on my behalf and possibly only an issue with the 2nd gen iPod Touch. The L3 does lock into place a little better but I have managed to resolve the issue of the L3 dangling out of my pocket by buying a case that has some slots on the back and then clipping my E5 onto those. I've then rigged up a neck lanyard that also connects to those two slots on the back of the case so I can suspend the iPod from around my neck and not have it crammed into my pockets with the L3 and/or E5 hanging loose.

It would be great if one day there was an all-in-one solution incorporating a line out dock and a headphone amplifier in one unit so you wouldn't have to buy separates.

a mini-to-mini 3.5mm right angle cable please. Only high qulity economical priced 6" cable is the cardus @$18.00 vs. gazillion dollars boutique short cables.

+1, exactly what he said. the PCOCC-A cable used in the L2 is much higher quality than the other cheaper offerings. if you use the PCOCC-A in the right angle mini-to-mini, you've got a GREAT product on your hands. the only other decent one is the 6" cardas which is still a bit pricey @ $18. if you can undercut them at $10 then i'm sure no one would but the cardas anymore. also, your PCOOC-A may be even higher quality than the cardas.
