new K1000 for $700?

This isn't proof, but it looks like they're being exhibited at a headphone convention. And it's a good thing this posting makes you wonder.

You may be aware that they've tried to sell Audio Technica EC7s (retailing for $100) for under $10, and I'm not sure if all of the fake Senn PX100s are gone yet. Not too long ago,I came across an AKG K801 - a model that exists only in fantasy. All sales invariably originate from China.

I'd really like to know the translation for the text.

Well... there isn't anything all that important in the text, except this bit:

你好,请问你们店里还有K1000吗?
店主回复:暂时没货,方便留电话到货通知你.

In other words they're out of stock at the moment.

The text message said the K1000's are real, but currently out of stock. Intended buyer can leave his phone # so when the phones come in they will be notified.... something like that I guess.

K801?! that will be nice. I wonder why there isn't any Senn HD700 around yet, or Beyer 999 (or maybe DT777, 888 etc)

lol, I got a few pairs a while back from the same place, they were real. I sold them off for $1400, easy money.
