Thanks for trying those exact pads, and I do appreciate the feedback on those.

Thanks so much for the measurements @GREQ ! With z1000 pads those graphs look a lot what I think I hear with pro80 pads. Not sure if the bass rolloff is there to that extent. Could be and maybe I don't mind it much because it slowly descends instead of rolling off at once.
Of course it is possible that pro80 pads have a better seal. Those are thin but more like vinyl instead of pleather. I doubt vinyl like earpads let no air (bass) escape.
How do you like mx100 vs mx10 or other headphones?

Just realised how good these are when I had to do some industrial noise monitoring (for work) using these.
The sub bass rumble from a machinery was thumping through my chest.

just re-soldered my connector(got jacked up but fixed now) rocking it out on my EVGA Nu audio which has recently replaced my mojo and i still love them even after using the M1060 for extended period of time i find these to be more reveiling and not as bass shy as i thought i find them coming off of a planar. I might get froggy and convert them to balanced myself im thinking of modding the cups for a double entry cable set ups instead of the single entry layout thats stock.

I get what you mean it might have been my source but listening to more progressive psytrance these do have some amazing reach in the lower registers. Not bloated or elevated at all but great extension and detail very clean bass i didn't think id chive with it after the mono's but its dope sounding at least to me
now youtube compression blows but the bass rhythm here has much more detail to it than the mono's did and to my ears it reaches just a tad lower.

Any more info or users on the HA-MX100? I am quite interested in it but not a lot of info on it...

There's a new version: (with doggy decal)Any more info or users on the HA-MX100? I am quite interested in it but not a lot of info on it...

Early reviews on yahoo-japan aren't conclusive.
It seems to mostly be the same headphone with possibly minor tuning differences.

In another thread he also linked to this YouTube video about them:

Yes, that is the one I am looking at. But from what I found out it seems that the V and Z are the same? There's a new version: (with doggy decal)
