WAHAHAHAHAHA! Yes indeed, very funny.

I think they are the Sennheisers. I got Sennheiser (though not labelled) with the IMP-400.

very cool, except its $500 for 10gb, quite a premium at the moment at least

what it does have that others don't, for this size..
FM radio
recording/encoding
optical in/optical out
hi-res remote
battery life ~15 hrs supposedly

hahahaha
do anyone know the average price it will be when it come out, i would save my money for this instead of the imp550 if its not too much, i think it will be.

oh i read the above topic, $500, nevermind, i could use that money for a car.

Will $500 be the actual U.S. price? Because I remember audiocubes sold the Iriver IMP-550 before the U.S. release date for a signficantly higher price than the U.S. retail price.

im pretty sure it will cost more from audiocubes, because they have to import the players from korea, than export to US. which means double import fee

Wow, whoppin' 128MB Built in Flash memory as compared to 16MB for Nomads and 32MB for iPod and Approx. 16 hours playing time!!

But inferior S/N Ratio: 90dB, weaker Headphone output: 20mW(L) + 20mW(R) and low disk space (only 10GB) along with high price tag ($489) is MAJOR TURN-OFF!!

IRiver should know better we ain't no sucker here!

Just for the curiosity, how is this optical in/optical out be used in portable environment? What's the merit of using the optical connection for hooking up a device with S/N Ratio: 90dB?
