I'm getting a ZV:M, Soloz LOD, and a portable amp, I can't remember which atm, for $330, from Soloz (I think he comes here), and I wanna learn to do some wiring, as in, making cables and the sort, but since I'm brand new, I have no materials or tutorials. What do I need, and where can I get it? I'm up for trying to make ANY kind of cable, given the resources are a fair price. I'm in Canada as well, so I need preferably a Canadian retailer, or somewhere that ships to Canada for a fair price. Thanks in advance.

Pretty good deal. Good luck with your setup and post a pic in the portables pix thread!

Mmm, I will, but that doesn't answer my question. What do I need to make cables, and where can I get it? I'm going to try making cables of all sorts, so, yeah, a variety of materials would be nice.

Edit: Another question, is there a way to get this to support flac at all?

I can't help you directly with this question, but the DIY section is loaded with answers to your cable queries.

Sorry, but no. The only lossless format that the ZV:M supports is WAV.
