Hi
Decided to jump on the radiopaq jazz bandwagon after christmas and had been using them for the last couple of weeks. However now had to send them back to amazon for a refund as one of them literally fell apart. I also wasn't happy about the fit in my ears (after while it felt like they were jammed in there.
So I switched to my backup pair of sennheiser cx300's (yeah I know). I've been using the cx300's and with comply (medium size) tips could hardly tell they were in my ears for most of the day. However I began to miss the sound quality from the 'paqs. So what I'm looking for is the comfort/fit of the cx300's, better if possible isolation (thought the cx's wern't bad for that either)and a big sound improvement.
Any ideas? Had been looking at the sennheiser ie 6/7 (much as I'd like the 8's I don't think that I could hear the difference in the working environment), the westone um1's and err thats about it. The only reservation I have about the 7's is that the isolation isn't that good. Working in a noisy office so would like to block as much out as possible, which to be fair the 300's do a fair job at (is the ie7 isolation better or worse than the 300?) Using 2nd gen Ipod touch 32 gig and listen to mainly prog rock and synth stuff. Would like to keep the budget sub £120 (price of senns ie7 in uk atm)if possible!
